Late last year we decided to sell our cute glam’d up 1984 trailer and move up to a new 25′ trailer that we are just loving! A few years ago we stayed at La Pine State Park (south of Bend, Oregon) and had such a great site (right along the Deschutes River) and visited so many great places in the area that we decided to go back. I reserved the same site and we had absolutely perfect weather the whole time. It was so nice to wake up to blue sky and sunshine every day and mild, mid-60s every day. Access to the bike path that goes along the Deschutes was right behind our campsite, so we made several trips. We went to the High Desert Museum one day, biked and hung around camp other days, and went to Smith Rock in Redmond another day. We also found one of the greatest antique stores in Redmond too. It is called Beyond the Ranch Antiques and if you are ever in that area you have to stop by. The owner, Rob, is a cowboy originally from Texas and he actually recreated a western town in a portion of the store. It is so worth the stop, just to experience it.

Here are some of my favorite photos from our trip.
