My friend Susan and I went to the Tulip Festival in Woodburn last weekend and had a great time taking photos of all the gorgeous tulips. The weather was not ideal – gray, cloudy and showers, but it actually was better for photographs as the colors of the blooms were more true and there were no shadows or glare from the sun.

The pink one reminds me of a Venus fly trap. Feed me, Seymour! hee hee. The flowers are so pretty and I love the vibrant colors! Wish I could have gone while it was going on. Maybe next year.
